In 2009 Ran joined Laufer Aviation GHI in the position of the Company’s CFO and Deputy CEO.
In 2015 he was appointed as the Company’s CEO.
Ran brings to the Company more than 20 years of experience in different senior financial roles in the industrial and high-tech industries (such as Microsoft, Rad-Bynet group).
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a B.B. in Business Management & a L.L.M (Commercial Law and Tax) from Bar Ilan University.
Ran was employed by Kesselman & Kesselman (PricewaterhouseCoopers Israel) as an Accountant in a High-Tech auditing group.
Prior to that, ran was employed in the Satellite’s industry (IAI) as a Satellite Controller.
Ran is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Israeli Air Force and still serves in the reserves as a senior Air-Traffic Controller.
Amira started her career at Laufer Aviation GHI in 1988, as Department Head of the Ticketing department.
During her years of service at Laufer, Amira fulfilled many positions , such as, Operations Manager, Manager of Passenger Service Department, and since 2014 VP Operations of Laufer.
Amira brings to the position vast experience and knowledge in many areas of the operations activities of the company. This is combined with a strong people management skill and the ability to give professional solutions to clients, while being always vigilant of the safety issues to be upheld.
Amirah has Expert Status of the Travel Agents Organization and a Diploma from British Airways following a year’s study of tourism in London.
Elad has served in several roles in the company, and has served as the company’s CFO since 2016.As CFO, Elad is responsible for all the financial and accounting activities of the company.
He is also responsible for the company’s budget planning, budget control and monitoring.Elad has lead the company’s team in different RFP’s and tenders, financing activities and cross organizational processes.
He is also responsible for the company’s IT upkeep and development.
Elad has an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BA in economics and management from The Academic college of Tel Aviv Jaffa.
V.P. Vip services
Liat comes to Laufer GHI with 20 years’ experience in controlling, operating and managing large advanced service and sales systems in a variety of sectors.
Liat is experienced in design, adaptation and implementation of cross the board company processes related to the service experience, and to maximize sales potential.
Liat’s previous position of five years, was that of section manager and a member of management at Mechsuv Ltd.
Previous to that Liat was in senior managerial positions related to service and sales at leading call center company and an airline company.
Liat holds a degree in Company Management from the University of Haifa.
Dan Behar Began his career in the Aviation Industry in 1984 at Maman Logistic Group as Deputy Security Manager in the Cargo Security Division. When the ground handling department established, Dan possesses extensive experience in ground operations which eventually appointed as Operations Manager.
He moved to the Commercial / Marketing and Contracts until appointed as Deputy Managing Director of GHI.On 2007 GHI merged with Laufer Aviation creating Laufer Aviation – GHI, the Leading Ground Handling Company in Israel.
Dan appointed as Senior Manager Contracts and Quality Control. On November 2014 Dan appointed as V.P Commercial creating and maintaining business connections with customers / airlines and preparing the required Ground Handling Agreements.
V.P Eilat & Ovda
Gaston Shopen holds the position of V.P Eilat & Ovda, at Laufer Aviation-GHI,
a position he has held since 1985.
Gaston served in the Israeli Air Fotce as an airplane mechanic after graduating from the Air Force Technical School.
He has worked extensively in civil aviation since 1973.
V.P human resources
Roni has a BA degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand and a second degree in Sociology from the University of South Africa.
He joined Laufer Aviation GHI in 2009 bringing with him a wide range of experience in Financial and Economic management from previous positions in the Manufacturing and High Tech sectors.
He held the position as Chief Accountant / Comptroller of the company until mid-2016, when he was appointed as VP Human Resources of Laufer.
Roni has a comprehensive understanding of human resource management and is meeting the challenge of the diverse activities of the company to ensure it is adequately staffed with a well-trained, profession, and dedicated work force.
He believes that this is the basis of the excellent service standard to which we committed and constantly strive to improve.
